Hosting Requirements
You can host a blood drive at your business, church, school or community organization. Blood drive sponsors need:
- 30-50 donors (special accommodations can be made for larger organizations)
- A temperature-controlled, well-lit space
- Restroom facilities
- Ample electrical outlets
How We Help
We make hosting a drive easy by providing you with a single point of contact at our donor center to help guide you through the process, including:
- Providing materials to help you publicize your drive
- Equipment
- Refreshments for donors
A representative from our donor center recruiting staff will visit you prior to confirming a drive date for a “site check” to ensure the space where you plan to hold the blood drive meets the requirements outlined above.
