DIRECTIONS TO BWH

By Air:
Logan Airport. From Logan transportation is available either by cab or via the public transportation system (MBTA) using the Blue Line and making connections to the Green Line (E Line): via Arborway-Huntington Ave. to the Brigham Circle stop.

Driving:
From the North:
Head south on Route 93, then head west on Storrow Drive. Take the Fenway outbound I-S exit (on the left). At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. At fifth set of lights (overall), turn left on Francis Street.

From the South:
Head north on Route 3 (Southeast Expressway), take the Mass Ave-Roxbury exit. At the end of the ramp, cross Mass Ave. onto Melnea Cass Blvd. Take a left onto Tremont Street. Take first right onto Ruggles Stut. Turn left onto Huntington Avenue at the intersection of Ruggles and Huntington Avenue. At second set of lights (Brigham Circle), turn right onto Francis Street.

From the West:
Head east on the Massachusetts Turnpike into Boston. Take route 128 south for approximately one mile. Take Route 9 east for six miles. Bear left onto Brookline Avenue (Brookhouse apartments will be on the right). At third set of lights turn right onto Francis Street.

Continue east on the Massachusetts Turnpike. Take Huntington Avenue/Copley Square/Prudential Center exit. Take Huntington Avenue West for three miles. Turn right onto Francis Street at Brigham Circle.

Public transportation:
E Line (MBTA Green Line): Arborway-Huntington Stop: Brigham Circle
D Line (MBTA Green Line): Riverside Stop: Longwood

PARKING
Valet Parking at the Brigham is for patients only.
Parking is available at the Servicenter Garage located on the corner of Francis Street and Brookline Avenue, which is across from the main entrance of the Brigham and Women's Hospital.

WHERE TO STAY

The Inn at Longwood Medical (Best Western Boston): Located around the corner from the hospital on Longwood Avenue.   They offer a special rate to medical students coming to interview.  Please ask for the ‘Resident Interview” rate.  For reservations or more information, call 1-617-731-4700 or toll free 1-800-468-2378.  At check-in you must show your invitation to interview letter.  Discounted rate of $129 plus tax.

Holiday Inn Boston at Brookline: 1200 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA. They offer a special rate to medical students coming to interview. They are located a short distance from the hospital, offer shuttle service beginning at 7:00am, and if you need to arrive before 7:00 they, they pay for your cab fare. Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge:   Located on Boylston Street near Kenmore Square. They offer a shuttle to the hospital and is located a short distance from the Brigham. They offer a special rate to medical students visiting the Medical Area for interviews. For reservations or more information, call 1-617-267-8300 and ask for Ingrid, the manager.  Discounted rate during December of $109 plus tax and a rate of $99 during January.

The Beechtree Inn (Bed & Breakfast): Located within walking distance of the hospital in Brookline. Special offer of $99/night with mention of being a Brigham and Women's Residency Program guest. For reservations or more information, call 1-617-277-1620.
