Dr. Matloff came to the Gastroenterology Division at the Faulkner in 1980, having held a similar position at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. Dr. Matloff trained at the Tufts-New England Medical Center and, in collaboration with Dr. Marshall Kaplan, published several significant articles on primary biliary cirrhosis. Since coming to the Faulkner, Dr. Matloff has developed an exciting and successful endoscopy unit. He has enjoyed instructing fellows in the indications and techniques of endoscopy and has participated in the clinical research programs.
