Following completion of fellowship training in Gastroenterology at UCLA in 1998, Dr. Lew obtained his Master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University under the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program. He has particular interests in two areas of Gastroenterology: infectious pathogens of the GI tract and acid peptic disorders and related cancers. Dr. Lew’s most recent research involves studying risk factors for gastric carcinoid tumors. Recently recruited to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Lew plans to continue his clinical investigations while based at the VA Boston HealthCare System, West Roxbury Campus.
