Pulmonary Rehab Support Group

There is a monthly support group open to individuals with lung disease and their friends and family members. During these support group meetings guest speakers provide current information on various topics related to lung disease. This program not only allows individuals to keep up-to-date on the latest information, but it also allows patients to stay in touch with the rehabilitation staff and fellow classmates. Sessions are informal, and questions are welcome.

Some of our previous topics have included the emotional impact of lung disease; tests used to diagnose and follow lung disease; lung transplantation; diabetes; and sleep apnea.

If you have any suggestions for future topics, please let us know; call (617) 983-7549.
