Mammography
Mammography is the standard of care for screening of women over the age of 40. A baseline mammography is recommended between 35 and 40 years of age.
Mammography is used for evaluation of changes in breast exam and can be done during consultation at the Lee Bell Center for Breast Imaging with immediate results available.
More recently, digital mammography has emerged as a more accurate way of evaluating younger women's breasts. Digital mammography is available at the Lee Bell Center for Breast Imaging.
