Michele Vita

Michele has a BS in Communications: Interpersonal & Organizational Development, and recently earned a Joint Master's in Organizational Learning & Development and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources all from Suffolk University in May 2009. 

Prior to joining OD & Learning Team at Brigham and Women’s Michele served as a Human Resources Staffing Assistant on the clinical team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. 

Michele believes that leadership is not acting bureaucratically, but rather a collective action that allows for the capacity of an organization to shape its future. She also feels that the culture of an organization will determine its survival over the long term. 

She is excited to be working at a place whose culture embraces change and diversity, and encourages collaboration enabling our employees to feel valued, motivated, and proud of the institution they are a part of. 

Her personal career ambition is to help others embrace these concepts and work in partnership with her team to support BWH in doing so.
