Referring an Employee for Coaching
The Workforce Development Department provides the services of an experienced Career Coach to all employees. The Coach can provide individualized assistance to your employee around difficult decisions such as: Finding a new career; choosing a college; setting up an informational interview and more. If you would like to refer an employee for coaching services, there are a few criteria that they need to meet:
- Recommended by direct supervisor
- Employed for at least six months
- Must be in good standing (no corrective actions in last six months)
- Most recent performance review is satisfactory
- Willing to participate and engage in activities related to career development on their own time
- Motivated to take initiative to advance their career at BWH/Partners
- Able to set goals and follow through with action steps
- Strong interpersonal skills
