Congratulations to Rebecca G. Stephenson, PT, DPT, MS, Coordiantor of Women's Health Physical Therapy, Department of Rehabilitation Services, BWH for being elected the President of the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Women's Health (IOPTWH) a division of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT).
Congratulations to Trisha Jenkyns, PT who received the "Volunteer of the Year Award " from the Women's Health Section of the APTA for her work on the Certification in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy (CAPP) Committee. She was received her award at the APTA's Combined Sections Meeting this past February in Boston.
Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Student assisted with medical coverage for the 111th Boston Marathon.
7 members of the Department of Rehabilitation Services worked alongside MD, RNs and athletic trainers at the finish line medical tent assisting runners from around the world.
