In 2009, Operation Walk will travel to Santo Domingo to perform joint replacements on as many as 50 patients who would not otherwise have access to these surgeries. Thornhill, MD, Brigham and Women’s Hospital Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and coordinated by Roya Ghazinouri, PT, DPT, MS, Inpatient Clinical Supervisor, Department of Rehabilitation Services.
