Want to Win an iPad?
If your work directly impacts patient care, you should receive email reminders from Pascal Metrics Support [PascalMetrics@jangomail.com] asking you to take our confidential BWH Patient Safety Culture Survey. If you have not yet completed the survey, please take 7 to 10 minutes to do so. You can also download a flyer at BWHPikeNotes.org to post in your area to remind staff to keep their eyes open for the survey. Participants will be entered into drawings for iPads, parking passes and American Express and Amazon gift cards.
United Way Campaign
It’s not too late to participate in the United Way campaign and be eligible for great prizes, including airfare for two anywhere in the continental U.S. Watch for your opportunity to donate through your own personal online giving page sent by email. Donations may be allocated toward local organizations, as well as Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, among other options. Town Meeting, Dec. 6
The next BWH Town Meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, at noon, in the Bornstein Amphitheater. You can vote for topics you’d like to hear about at BWHPikeNotes.org or submit a question ahead of time by emailing AskDrNabel@partners.org with your question, name and department.
Partners in Excellence Awards
Mark your calendar for the annual Partners in Excellence Awards Dec. 12, at 3 p.m., in the Cabot Atrium. This event honors award recipients from BWH, the Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization and Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center.
Routine Dermatology Appointments
Dermatology has a new way for patients, staff and physicians to easily access practices for new and returning routine dermatology appointment requests. You can directly email the appointment mailbox at firstname.lastname@example.org.Be sure to include your name, medical record number, email address or phone number, reason for visit, requested time frame and preferred appointment location. Please note that this is for routine appointments only.
