The Burn Center maintains an active research program that encompasses clinical trials, outcome assessment, and basic investigations in the development of skin substitutes, gene transfer, immunology of burns, and wound healing. We hope that our continuing research methods will result in better treatments to reduce the pain and disfigurement from burn injury.
