Physician Assistant

Physician assistants are licensed health care providers who work with physicians.

The physician assistant (PA) role for the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center Gynecology Oncology Program is to provide patient care, including performing physical exams, laboratory interpretation, daily management, prescription refills, certain medical procedures, medication orders, patient emergency evaluations on the floor. Our PA works most often with our patients, resident physicians and nurses on CWN 7. She is an integral part of our healthcare team assists our patients and families with their discharge from CWN 7 and their follow-up care.

Our PA also works in our Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center clinics evaluating new patients, reviewing patient histories, performing physical exams and coordinating care.
