In addition to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital campuses, radiology services are available in Chestnut Hill and the Faulkner Hospital campus. Our facilities, designed with comfort and easy accessibility in mind, include a separate waiting area for gowned patients and a private mammography suite that provides patients with their own dressing rooms and waiting room.

Most visits to our department are typically scheduled by the patient's doctor's office. However, women who want a mammography can schedule their own appointments with us, though they should make sure their health insurance will cover mammography services provided at the center before booking their appointments.

All radiology appointments take place either at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition, Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center offers a full range of diagnostic and image-guided therapy services during your hospital stay at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

A unique service is on-site consultation for patients and doctors in the multidisciplinary clinics located at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute campus. Every day, a full-time radiologist is available in the clinics for discussion of cases with doctors and patients. The consulting radiologist is conveniently located near most of the clinics and the infusion rooms. In the consultation area, the same digital computer network is available for instant review of any imaging done at the center.

Most routine imaging can be scheduled within one week, and emergency studies can be scheduled on the same day. Our receptionists are familiar with all of the imaging services provided, and our technologists will answer your questions and guide you through your imaging studies with care and respect.
