General Information

Hours

  • 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday - Sunday

Appointments

Treatment times vary. Talk with your nurse or doctor to find out how long your treatment may take. The middle of the day can often be very busy, so we suggest you make your appointment between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. or after 2 p.m.

I.D. Card

Bring your I.D. card to every visit. Show this card to get a lower rate in the parking garage.

Location

The infusion rooms are on Dana 1 and 10 at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Food

Juices, fruit, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and tea are available throughout the day. You may also bring your own snacks. Our cafeteria is located on Dana 1. Volunteers are available to provide drinks and refreshments and to bring your lunch.

Family and Friends

You may bring one family member or friend to your infusion room appointment. It is important, however, that this person not be sick with a cold or flu, or recently exposed to something "catchy" (such as measles or chickenpox). Children are allowed in the adult infusion areas, but they must be attended by an adult. Bring books, magazines, or portable CD players to help pass the time.
