The Department of Radiation Oncology at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center plays a central role in the treatment of adult and pediatric cancer patients at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital. Using a multidisciplinary team approach, we work closely with our colleagues in the Departments of Surgery and Medical/Pediatric Oncology at each of these institutions to ensure that all patients receive the best care for their particular cancer.

It is our mission to provide expert and compassionate clinical care, to discover new ways to improve the clinical outcome of patients with cancer, to increase our understanding of the biology of cancer and to educate the next generation of physicians and leaders in radiation oncology.
