The physicians and surgeons at the Cardiovascular Center are available for consultation and referral for every type of cardiac and cardiac surgical problem. We foster an atmosphere of collegial interchange, and we welcome the opportunity to assist referring physicians in any capacity.
Referral to any of our specialists is made with a single phone call to a toll-free or local number, 24 hours a day. We will help you find the specific specialist who is most qualified to help you with a particular problem. Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the hotline provides immediate access to all cardiac services from office visits and diagnostic services to hospital transfers and emergency services.
Alternatively, to speak with a cardiologist immediately, call the BWH page operator at 617-732-6660, follow instructions to speak with an attendant, and ask to page the TRANSFER CARDIOLOGIST-ON-CALL. He or she will help you transfer your patient immediately.
