
New Cardiovascular Center to open in May 2008
The Brigham and Women's Hospital Advanced Heart Disease center will soon be moving into a new $325 million state-of-the-art building dedicated to providing complete cardiovascular care. The Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center, scheduled for completion in May 2008, is designed to embody the Center's philosophy of patient-centered care--care based on a collaborative model that encourages clinicians to work seamlessly across subspecialties for optimal management of each patient.
