Along with providing advanced care to our patients, the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is dedicated to:
- Conducting research to determine the cause of arrhythmias
- Developing treatments for patients with heart rhythm problems
The Cardiac Arrhythmia Service is actively involved in clinical trials and research, in state-of-the-art electrophysiology laboratories, working to develop a better understanding of the mechanisms of abnormal heart rhythms as well as safer and more effective treatment options.
Because of our active research program, the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service offers patients the opportunity of potential treatment options that are not available elsewhere.
