Gifts of all sizes help the hospital sustain and improve its international leadership in medicine. Contributions can be left unrestricted, to be used where the need is greatest. Alternatively, they can be designated to support a specific purpose, such as: The Stork Fund, to help ensure healthy pregnancies; research intiatives; and operating room renovations. Gifts can also be made in memory of a loved one or to honor someone special in your life.
Gifts can be made outright or pledged over a period of up to five years. If you itemize tax deductions, you can deduct cash gifts of up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income. Donors who contribute $250 or more are listed in the hospital's "Honor Roll of Donors," published annually.
