The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Ethics Committee, an advisory body, is available to consult with patients, families and staff who face serious decisions about appropriate treatment and care. On request, members of the committee will meet with the patient, the family, and the health care team responsible for the patient's care to discuss the implications of treatment.
