Architect's rendering of BWH medical facility at Patriot Place
|
In fall 2008, Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) will open its newest outpatient care center at Patriot Place, next to Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough.
This new center will provide a comfortable and convenient location for both primary care and specialist services. Our current primary care practice in Norwood will be expanding and moving to the Foxborough center. In addition we will be providing a range of specialist care, including cardiology, dermatology, plastic surgery, and general and gastrointestinal surgery. Our sister organization in Partners Healthcare, Massachusetts General Hospital, will be providing orthopedic and sports medicine services, along with some of our BWH orthopedic surgeons.
Our modern, four-story building, with 93,000 square feet, is being erected right next to the entrance to Gillette Stadium and will include office space for physician visits, four operating rooms for ambulatory surgery, and advanced imaging technology.

This new center enables both Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital to provide services to our many patients from the Foxborough area closer to home. Standing next to Gillette Stadium, BWH's new ambulatory care center will be part of Patriot Place, a new lifestyle shopping mall that will fill 1.3 million square feet. The new mall will include ample parking, and many services and retail shops. The first shops opened in fall 2007, and more will join throughout 2008.
