Psychological Services
Our multidisciplinary team of experts provides care for the whole patient. The goals of treatment are not only to control your seizures, but to help the patient and the patient’s family cope with the day-to-day challenges of this condition so that you become empowered to elevate your overall quality of life.
We work closely with the faculty of our partner institution, Children’s Hospital, Boston, so that our young adults who were treated at Children’s have a smooth transition to our adult facility. Due to our relationship with Children’s and our joint fellowship program, we have considerable experience with pediatric patients and understand the complexities and concerns surrounding adolescents and young adults with epilepsy as they transition their care.
Outpatient Services
The Bromfield Epilepsy Program offers ongoing medical, emotional and psychosocial support on an outpatient basis. Our nurse works closely with referring physicians, and our social worker supports and offers educational services to patients and families on an ongoing basis.
