Neuromuscular Service

The neuromuscular service provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, consultation and management of all neuromuscular disorders, including motor neuron disease (ALS), peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, muscular dystrophy and myasthenia gravis. Currently we offer comprehensive neuromuscular services at the main campus of Brigham and Women's Hospital and diagnostic services at the Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts GeneralHealth Care Center.

Neuromuscular (ACGME) Fellowship
Harvard Medical School/Partners Neurology offers six positions for a one-year ACGME-approved fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine. Fellows will be exposed to a wide array of patients with different neuromuscular disorders while rotating through the neuromuscular clinics and EMG laboratories at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Children’s Hospital in Boston. Opportunities for a second year of research, as well as instruction in the performance and interpretation of muscle and nerve biopsies are also available.
