Nursing Intern Program
Shape Our Vision
Our Nurse Intern Program provides you with a career path designed to advance your skills in a supportive and rewarding environment. Nurse Interns start while students working as Patient Care Assistants and Unit Coordinators either part-time during your academic year and/or during the summer months.
Our Nurse Intern Program features:
5-day assessment, orientation and skills validation program
Development of an individualized learning contract
Specialized didactic sessions focusing on the critical aspects of nursing care
Case presentation sessions utilized to develop critical thinking skills
Clinical leadership development series
Six 12-week clinical preceptorship with weekly coaching and performance review
Clinically appropriate patient assignment with continued coaching by senior staff
