
Mark Vrahas, MD
Dr. Vrahas is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is the Chief of the Partners Orthopedic Trauma Service. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh. His clinical interests are: Orthopaedic Trauma, Total Joints, Arthritis, Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures, Non-unions, Osteomyelitis, Post Traumatic Reconstruction, and hip Reconstruction/Osteotomy.

- In Orthopedic Trauma and Joint Surgery at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto, Canada
Prior to joining the staff at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Dr. Vrahas was:
- A Trauma and Joint Surgeon at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
- Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans
Dr. Vrahas is a national and international expert in the management and treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures.
