Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) is a 777-bed teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is located in Boston's illustrious Longwood Medical Area.
In 2009, BWH was named the 8th best hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report’s Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals. BWH was awarded the number one spot in both Kidney Disease and Gynecology and placed in the top ten for Heart and Heart Surgery, Rheumatology and Endocrinology.
