The Outpatient Psychiatry Service offers evaluation and treatment of patients who receive their health care at BWH. Treatment modalities include individual and group psychotherapies utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and interpersonal therapies and psychopharmacology for a range of emotional problems through the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic and the faculty practice. Specialty areas include women's mental health issues, sleep disorders, pain disorders, adaptation to medical illnesses, psychopharmacology, anxiety disorders, phobias and depression.
