| Brigham and Women’s Hospital Announces New President
|  | Brigham and Women's/Faulkner Hospitals (BW/F) named Elizabeth G. Nabel, MD, the Director of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health, its next president. Dr. Nabel, who will assume her position January 1, 2010, will succeed Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, who becomes CEO and president of Partners HealthCare when James Mongan, MD, retires at the beginning of the new year.
