Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship
The Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship provides exposure to vascular imaging by magnetic resonance (MR) and computed tomography (CT) for thoracic and abdominal aorta, peripheral and visceral vascular pathology, and pulmonary arteries. Fellows will also study cardiac imaging by MR and CT for evaluation of adult congenital heart disease, adult acquired heart disease (MR assessment of myocardial viability, MR measurement of infarct size and microvascular obstruction, ischemic and dilated cardiomyopathies, hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathies, MR myocardial perfusion during pharmacologic stress, MR assessment of global and regional left ventricular function at rest and during pharmacologic stress including pre-operative cardiac assessment, ventricular morphology, global and regional function, valvular morphology and function, functional evaluation of pre-and-post-operative heart disease, pericardial disease), and coronary arteries (calcium scoring, coronary MRA and CTA).
