How to Apply
If you are interested in using the CCI to conduct clinical research, please complete the CCI Resource Request Application.

- If your protocol has already undergone a peer review by the funding agency and you do not want the CCI to do a complete Scientific Review of your protocol, please submit the Peer Review and Score. This is optional. If these are not submitted at the time of application, your protocol will receive a complete Scientific Review by our Scientific Review and Advisory Committee.
Additional Information
Industry Supported Protocols: If your protocol will receive any industry support and you are requesting CCI support, please attach the following documentation to your application:- A copy of the initial correspondence (and other relevant correspondence) between the investigator and the industry indicating whether the study was initiated by the industry or the investigator.
- A copy of the itemized budget that has been agreed upon by the investigator and the industry. If financial support is in the form of unrestricted funds, please indicate budget is still being worked out.
- The investigator must provide the account code and a BWH Clinical Laboratory F#, if applicable.
- Please contact JoAnna Sullivan for any cost-related inquiries.
Laboratory Support:
- The Harvard Catalyst Processing, Analytical, and Translational Core provides routine and ancillary laboratory assays at a free or reduced cost to Investigators. This support is subject to change.
- For additional information regarding laboratory assays, including a list of current assays performed in the Harvard Catalyst Central Laboratory (HCCL), please refer to the Laboratory section of the CCI Website.
- For research assays not on the ACL list, please refer to the Harvard Catalyst Website - Resources page to identify Cores which may be able to perform those assays for you.
- Laboratory assays that are identified and budgeted for in your grant cannot be supported by the Harvard Catalyst grant. Please provide a copy of the sponsor approved budget.

This will result in a delay of the review and approval of your protocol.
