Clinical Pharmacology of Cardiovascular Agents Dr. Elliott Antman's research interests involve the clinical pharmacology of cardiovascular agents and their evaluation in randomized control trials. Dr. Antman is a Senior Investigator in the TIMI Study Group and is leading projects evaluating novel antithrombotic agents, especially for the management of acute coronary syndromes. Utilizing biostatistical techniques such as meta-analysis, the efficacy and safety of various agents are being evaluated. Dr. Antman is the immediate past chair of the ACC/AHA Task Force on Practice Guidelines and remains involved in the writing of the UA/STEMI and STEMI Guidelines. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American College of Cardiology and the Science Advisory and Coordinating Committee of the American Heart Association.
