Outpatient Units
The Center for Clinical Investigation offers the two Outpatient Units available to investigators:
The Clinical Trial Center (CTC) is located on the fourth floor of the Peter Bent Brigham Building of the Hospital. This facility provides a convenient and centralized area to conduct clinical trials.
It offers:
- rooms for interviewing, patient examination and testing
- a conference room
- computer facilities for subject screening, data entry, analyses, preparation
- personnel to perform clinical assessment and testing
The CTC personnel are experienced and able to perform phlebotomy, blood and specimen processing, ECGs, and specimen packaging, shipping, and storage.
Any protocols without CTSA approval will incur the following costs:
Fee Structure:
Patient Visit: $40/hour (Includes Phlebotomy, Lab Processing, and room use)
Phlebotomy alone: $10
Lab Processing alone: $20
ECG performed by Study Staff: $10
ECG performed by CTC personnel: $25
The ACC Outpatient Unit is located at 221 Longwood Avenue. The ACC has five rooms and phlebotomy services are available.
