The Men’s Sexual Health Clinic at Brigham and Women’s Hospital has been treating men with sexual disorders for over 20 years.Male sexual dysfunction has various causes. For example, some cases of erectile dysfunction (impotence) are due to chronic diseases of the lungs, liver, kidneys, heart, nerves, arteries, or veins. Excessive tobacco use can also damage penile arteries. Psychological factors such as stress, anxiety, and depression account for 10 to 15 percent of erectile dysfunction cases. The BWH Men’s Sexual Health Clinic, directed by Dr. Michael P. O’Leary, provides evaluation and treatment of all aspects of male sexual dysfunction in a relaxed and private setting.
