Advancement in an academic environment can be challenging for clinical faculty. As part of BWH's ongoing support of faculty pursuing promotion at HMS on the "Clinical Expertise and Innovation" path, the Center for Faculty Development and Diversity is offering this lecture. The Office for Women's Careers Director Carol Nadelson, MD, will work with a small group of faculty to enhance their writing skills and facilitate their ability to write for publication. Bring a presentation, research results, a case, a powerpoint, etc. that you've been working on, and she will help you turn it into a publishable piece. Dr. Nadelson was the first woman elected President of the American Psychiatric Association, and she was CEO, Editor-in-Chief of the American Psychiatric Press, Inc., (APPI) and Chairman of the Editorial Board. She has written over 230 scientific publications and chapters, and co-edited over 40 books, and 18 tapes.
