The GID Program at HIGH sponsors an annual scientific symposium, to convene researchers and students around critical issues related to infectious diseases. The upcoming symposium entitled Enteric Bacterial Pathogens: From Mechanism to Therapeutics, will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, from 1:30-6:30PM at the HMS Joseph B. Martin Conference Center located at 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur. This symposium will serve as a forum to discuss recent scientific accomplishments, current scientific challenges, and new approaches that will encourage interdisciplinary research in enteric diseases. Our ultimate goal is to accelerate investigations into areas with the most potential to reduce the burden of enteric disease on vulnerable populations. This year's symposium will feature scientific presentations, a poster session, and networking opportunities for faculty, students, researchers and invited guests. Please register by November 03, 2009
