Vijay Kuchroo, PhD, Samuel L. Wasserstrom Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School, will discuss clear and effective grant-writing strategies.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1 - Understand the components of a successful grant application and good grant writing techniques and practices.
2 - Know strategies for building a grant portfolio and the right time for junior faculty to apply for the different grant mechanisms.
3 - Understand criteria used by reviewers and the NIH to score grant applications.
