Kerry Damon

Kerry Damon, MS, serves as vice president of Human Resources (HR). In this role, Damon manages the day-to-day operations of HR at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, supporting and overseeing the HR Business Partners, Employee Relations and the Office of Sponsored Staff, Volunteers and Recognition teams.

An accomplished HR leader with nearly 30 years of experience working in human resources in health care, Damon specializes in strengthening relationships with staff at all levels and building strategic HR teams that inspire a positive workforce culture.

Before joining the Brigham, she was vice president of HR Business Partners, Labor and Employee Relations at Baystate Health, a role she assumed in 2019. She joined Baystate Health in 2012 as director of HR and took on the role of senior director, Labor & Employee Relations and Community Hospital HR in 2014. Earlier in her career, Damon was director of Recruitment, Labor and Employee Relations at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and director of Human Resources at Kindred Healthcare.

Her expertise includes devising and implementing HR strategies to promote workforce utilization, employee and labor relations, change management and improvement in safety and patient experience. Working to support patients, staff and administrators, she brings this extensive knowledge and experience in HR leadership to her role at the Brigham.

Damon has a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Penn.
