Eyre, Meehan and Scott Named Simulation Educators of the Year

Andrew Eyre, MD, MHPEd Christina Meehan, MSN, RN John W. Scott, MD, MPH

Andrew Eyre, MD, MHPEd, of the Department of Emergency Medicine; Christina Meehan, MSN, RN, of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; and John W. Scott, MD, MPH, of the Department of Surgery, received 2017-2018 Simulation Educators of the Year awards from the Neil and Elise Wallace STRATUS Center for Medical Simulation. The award recognizes outstanding commitment to creating high-quality, simulation-based courses for trainees, staff and faculty at BWH. The award was presented at the STRATUS Center’s second annual luncheon on May 24.

Eyre was recognized for his years-long work educating a new wave of medical trainees as assistant resident director of the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Residency (HAEMER) program.

Meehan was honored for her dedicated work training interprofessional groups in the Neonatal Resuscitation program. 

Scott received the award for his commitment to organizing high-quality simulation sessions for interns and residents in the Department of Surgery.
