Julia McNabb-Baltar, MD, MPH, of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy, received the Rising Star Award from the National Pancreas Foundation’s (NPF) Massachusetts Chapter. This award recognizes an emerging leader in the field of pancreatic disease.
At the Brigham, McNabb-Baltar’s research focuses on acute and chronic pancreatitis and the care of patients affected by pancreatic diseases.
The NPF is a private nonprofit established to support the funding of research related to pancreatic diseases.
