Brigham Digital Innovation Hub Selected for Digital Health Sandbox Network

Members of the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub

The Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub) was selected to join the Digital Health Sandbox Network, a grant program of Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI) at the MassTech Collaborative. The program connects Massachusetts-based technology startups to cutting-edge research and development facilities offered by the sandbox locations. Selected sandboxes such as the iHub are eligible to receive funding to evaluate and validate startup innovations in their organizations.

In expanding its network of innovators and access to funding opportunities through the Digital Health Sandbox Network, iHub will accelerate its mission of driving patient-centered, efficient and safe care through use, development, evaluation and commercialization of digital health.

Since 2013, iHub has provided digital health innovation capabilities to Brigham’s community of clinicians, researchers and staff. Serving as a connection point between experts at the Brigham and the broader innovation ecosystem of startups, industry and venture capitalists, iHub helps enable and advance the collaboration needed to accelerate the adoption of innovative tools across Brigham Health.

The Massachusetts Digital Health Initiative is a public-private partnership working to establish Massachusetts as a leading ecosystem for digital health innovation, driving economic impact and improving health care costs and quality.
