Brigham and Women's Hospital was recognized on Newsweek’s 2021 World’s Best Smart Hospitals list, earning the No. 6 spot for its commitment to innovation and advancement in the health care field.
The Brigham was one of 250 hospitals recognized by Newsweek and Statista for excelling in the areas of digital surgery, digital imaging, artificial intelligence, telehealth and electronic medical records. In determining this ranking, Newsweek and Statista conducted in-depth interviews, desk research and an international online survey.
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital was also honored with the same distinction, ranking 44th on the list.
Newsweek is a news magazine and website covering domestic and international issues, technology, business, culture and politics. Statista is a data and business intelligence portal that conducts international market and consumer studies as well as surveys.
