Abdi is a transplant nephrologist and director of the Transplantation Research Center, which strives to dramatically improve outcomes for recipients of transplanted organs. His research interests focus on developing new and innovative immune therapeutics.
The AST is the largest transplant organization in North America and is dedicated to advancing the field of transplantation and improving patient care by promoting research, education, advocacy and organ donation.
