Brigham Named on Newsweek's 2024 World's Best Specialized Hospitals and World's Best Smart Hospitals Lists

Brigham and Women’s Hospital was named one of the World’s Best Specialized Hospitals of 2024, ranking in the top 10 in four specialties, and one of the World’s Best Smart Hospitals of 2024, ranking No. 8 globally, by Newsweek and Statista. 

The World's Best Specialized Hospitals rankings identify and honor the very best hospitals around the globe that specialize in cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, pulmonology and urology. The Brigham ranked in the following specialties:

The World’s Best Smart Hospitals list recognizes the 330 best medical institutions worldwide that are leading the field in smart technologies. The survey included recommendations for five sub-categories: electronic functionalities, telemedicine, digital imaging, artificial intelligence and robotics.
