Brigham and Women’s Hospital received an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for fall 2022, the non-profit Leapfrog Group announced Nov 16. “Receiving another ‘A’ grade from The Leapfrog Group is a reflection of the high-quality care the Brigham is committed to providing for our patients,” said Sonali Desai, MD, MPH, Chief Quality Officer at the Brigham. “We’re grateful for our dedicated staff and providers for their continued diligence and unparalleled expertise in providing top-notch care to the patients and communities that we serve.”
The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization with a 10-year history of assigning letter grades to general hospitals throughout the United States, based on a hospital’s ability to prevent medical errors and harm to patients.
