The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Brigham is a team of more than 300 physicians, CRNAs, physician-scientists and basic scientists who are working together to define the future of the field of anesthesiology. Our mission is to deliver exceptional patient care, conduct innovative research, and educate transformational leaders in the art, science, and practice of anesthesiology, perioperative and pain medicine. We foster a dynamic workplace culture that attracts exceptional trainees and faculty clinicians, educators and scientists and enables original and lasting innovations that transform health care.
