Anesthesiology Residency Interview Information

We invite qualified candidates for an interview once we have all the sufficient information to make a decision. Typically, this is after the Dean's Letters arrive on October 1st. We make every effort to notify all applicants about their application status by November 15th (unless the application is incomplete at that time). Our application deadline is October 31st and while we do review applications received after the deadline, the interviews are rarely granted unless there are extenuating circumstances. We invite approximately 12 to 16 candidates for each interview date and all candidates are invited to a dinner with our residents, which takes place the night before the interview. Candidates are strongly encouraged to attend the interview dinner, as it is one of the best ways to get to know our residency. Residents from all years of training participate (including the PGY-1s).
