In our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), world-leading experts in infant neurology provide the best possible start for every baby. Here, members of a multidisciplinary team, including nurses who are specially-trained in neurocritical care, have mastered advanced technologies to identify seizures, monitor brain activity and provide therapeutic “cooling” within hours of birth. After the critical stage, babies graduate to a Growth and Development Unit where they experience sights, voices, and human touch that foster crucial development.
