Research in the BWH Department of Dermatology is driven by a team of talented, innovative, and collaborative faculty members who are committed to making the world a better, more equitable place for people with skin disease. With $9 million per year in NIH funding, our 9 NIH funded Principal Investigators are producing fundamental insights into stem cell biology, innate and acquired immune responses, skin cancers, and inflammatory skin diseases while providing a supportive, compassionate environment to train the next generation of physicians and scientists.
