Cutaneous Vasculitis Clinic

The mission of the Cutaneous Vasculitis Clinic is to provide high quality clinical care to patients with cutaneous vasculitis in a timely manner, and to incorporate careful consideration of systemic disease beyond the skin into every patient visit. We have experience with a wide range of conditions in patients from diverse backgrounds. Our team emphasizes collaboration, working closely with specialists from other departments, such as Rheumatology, in order to provide comprehensive care.

Vasculitis involves inflammation of the blood vessels. In the skin, typically small and sometimes medium vessels may be involved. Some of the conditions treated in our clinic include:

  • Polyarteritis Nodosa (PAN)
  • ANCA-associated vasculitis
    • Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA)
    • Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA)
    • Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA)
  • IgA Vasculitis (Henoch-Schonlein Purpura, HSP)
  • Cryoglobulinemic Vasculitis
  • Urticarial vasculitis
  • Cutaneous vasculitis
  • Leukocytoclastic vasculitis
  • Hypersensitivity vasculitis
  • We also have experience in conditions involving microvascular occlusion of the skin such as Livedoid vasculopathy.
