STRATUS International Program in Medical Simulation
The STRATUS International Program in Medical Simulation has a broad focus that allows fellows to gain an understanding of the various components of simulation and medical education. Core topic areas include adult learning theory, curriculum development, debriefing in simulation education, technical skills training, business models for simulation funding, simulation center design, center operations, formative and summative assessment, and research in simulation. Fellows also have time to work with faculty on specific areas of interest.
International Program in Emergency Department Leadership and Administration
The International Program in Emergency Department Leadership and Administration is a 12-month program designed to teach the skills necessary to lead and manage successful emergency departments through didactic sessions, experience-based learning, and focused interaction with senior mentors.
International Program in Emergency Department Ultrasound
The International Program in Emergency Department Ultrasound trains colleagues around the world to become the best emergency sonographer educators they can be. Our tuition-based immersive program ranges from 4 weeks to one year and is adapted to meet the specific needs of the learner. We have a defined curriculum consisting of didactic, research, and emergency ultrasound education. To provide the most optimal experience, we leverage the breadth and scope of educational opportunities within the Brigham and Women's Hospital to meet our scholar's goals. Our international trainees leave our program armed with the skills needed to be ultrasound leaders at their respective institutions.
